Sticking with the same type of exercise could become boring and cause you to lose interest in your routine. Turn things inside out and do your routine backward. If you are kept captivated by your routines, you will stay motivated longer. By allowing yourself to lose interest in working out, you put yourself at greater risk of quitting your routine. If you let yourself quit once, it is that much more difficult to get motivated again.


Make sure that you reward yourself along the way. Rewards are wonderful motivators. A special gift for yourself will help you stay focused even if it is not very expensive. Your reward should be something that you enjoy and which you can get easily. If you enjoy the reward, then you will be more motivated to keep working towards that next goal.


Working out should not be a way of punishing yourself. Be sure to include some fun exercise in your workouts, such as playing basketball or biking, so that you will enjoy it. These tips will put the fun back into your exercise routine.

  15. Teensy little request… Could you possibly add a voice over of the instructions? As a newbie, I have to keep looking to see what was next in the middle of everything and it was slightly awkward and sort of disrupted the flow.
    Other than that, great video! Definitely a routine I can follow when I'm really not feeling well.
