This is exercise number 4 in part 2 of the flexibility series. This will improve your flexibility for the Pilates book opening pose or other spine rotation poses.

Boredom is one of the top reasons that people abandon their exercise routines and quit their fitness regimens entirely. Variety is key. This is easily done by changing types of music or doing a new routine. If you keep your eyes open you should be able to find interesting ways to liven up your workout.


Rewarding yourself is an excellent way to look forward to exercising. It is not necessary to wait until you have reached your final goal to celebrate. Be smart about your choice of rewards. Have a sliver of cheesecake, or buy yourself that book you’ve been wanting to read. Regardless of your choice, be certain that it is something you love and something you can afford. Remember, it’s important to stay motivated as your fitness is on the line!
