It is very rare for improper application to be the cause of fitness failure. Most people are held back by their lack of knowledge and motivation. The secret is making your exercise and diet things you can enjoy and sustain; the advice here helps point you in that direction.

If you own a video console, buy a workout game. Fitness games are an easy way for you to add variety to your workout regimen. When you are engrossed in your video game, you will not be thinking about the workout that you are getting. You will find you are motivated to exercise longer, with far more enjoyment, because your workout seems more like play.


Buy an outfit that makes you feel good and look great. Although you may not think of workout clothing as being very fashionable, there is a vast array of selections out there. You’re sure to be surprised and delighted by the many choices in styles and types of exercise clothing available today. It may very well be that a cute outfit is your motivator to exercise. If it is, put it on, head to the gym and get working out!


You will get bored with an exercise routine if you do it every day, which may cause you to stop. If you get bored, you will likely quit altogether. To keep your workout exciting and fun, change up your routine regularly, and you will stay motivated. This is a critical point, because if you quit working out you will lose momentum, and it can be difficult to start over from scratch.


Stay excited about keeping fit when you plan a series of reward points. You are not required to wait until you have reached your final goal to celebrate your accomplishments. Make sure the reward you choose is indulgent, even if it’s simple. Make your reward simple and affordable. New clothing, jewelry or even just a dessert you have not eaten in a while are great examples of how to treat yourself. When choosing a reward, you should ensure it is one that has value to you and simple to get. The higher your motivation levels, the more success you will gain.


An exercise routine does not need to be something you dread. Look for ways to make your exercise routine so much fun that you look forward to doing it. Use the ideas in this article to make your fitness routine more fun.

What I like about your videos is not only the banter, but how you encourage appreciation and maintenance of the body in general. At 58 and working with much younger colleagues, it is clear they

    I don't have a dog but my 2 yo son joined me on some pilates & pushups 😉
