My good friend Michelle talked about this recipe a whilst back and I was offered.  Chicken + garlic + lemon + crockpot = yum!  I let my chicken soak in a salty brine prior to cooking it in the crock pot.
1 entire chicken, rinsed
four-8 cloves of garlic
salt and pepper to taste
water or chicken broth
Rinse your entire chicken, trim any excess body fat or skin.
Soak in a big bowl of cold, salty water for several hrs.
Drain, rinse and add to crock pot.  Stuff with peeled garlic cloves and lemon sliced in half.  I poured in about 1-two inches of broth to the crock pot.
Cook on low for about four-6 hrs, until the chicken falls off the bone.  I enjoy making use of this as an addition to soup or pasta.
