Music is helpful to listen to while working out. Music will get you moving. It is natural for people to respond to music. When you feel as though you’re dancing to a great song rather than exercising, your workouts will be much more entertaining. When you listen to music while you are working out, it will be fun, and you will be able to keep going. Listening to music is a great tool to utilize when you want to make your exercise last longer, because music will make you do more without even realizing it.

Exercising is easier with a friend! Having someone to chat with while you are exercising makes your workout go by faster. The weight will come off surprisingly fast. You and your friend will marvel at the results.

Workout video games are exceptional exercise tools. The reason video games are so great is because you are focused on the game and not on the workout you are putting in. If you can take the focus away from your body, you should be able to increase your endurance and exercise longer.

Purchasing new clothes to exercise in can be a great motivator. Look for clothing that fits your body nicely and make you feel good about yourself. Use some creativity when you pick out your outfit. Use your workout clothes to express your personality and flair. The more comfortable you are in your workout wardrobe, the more comfortable you will be working out.

When you do the same exercise routines over and over, it is not difficult to become bored. If your habitual exercise routine has become boring, it is likely to lead to neglect rather than success. Try switching up your routine regularly for a fun change of pace. Making your exercise interesting helps your motivation. By allowing yourself to lose interest in working out, you put yourself at greater risk of quitting your routine. It makes it much harder to get back into a good exercise routine once you quit.

Rewarding yourself is deserved if you have done a good job. A reward provides the motivation you will need to complete the next step of your journey. You can treat yourself to a small portion of your favorite dessert, or perhaps buy a new exercise outfit that you have always wanted.

You really can enjoy exercising. There is no need to make it a chore. Many workout options exist which can make exercise seem like fun. This article discusses practical information that you can use right away to plan your workouts.

  2. Kassandra, youtube really should invent the LoveLoveLove button… I have been practicing yoga for 22 months now, doing 70-90 mins every morning. I have done A LOT of yoga classes. This, dear, was easily THE BEST hip sequence I have ever done. Perfectly built up sequence, perfect cueing. I love the fact that your cues are so very professional they let me practice with my eyes closed almost the whole time. You are now officially in the list of top notch instructors. Wonderful class, thank you!

  3. My hips feel like brand new!

  4. Thank you Cassandra for these videos! They really help me for my recovery.

  5. This class is amazing! Thanks you, namaste!

  6. Thanks Kassandra. I've done 'part one'. That's just enough for me this evening 🙂

  7. this is the best hip opening yoga workout! I have sciatica and my hips and front of thighs are really tight. I did this practice this morning first thing after waking up… and went for a qi massage in the afternoon. usually…. when my hip /bum / it band will be painful like hell when it's being massaged. but today, there was a huge difference! my masseuse commented that the muscles are very relaxed and soft and I didn't feel any pain or tension when being massaged. this is AMAZING! I'm gonna make this a daily practice! thank you Kassandra! ❤️❤️❤️👍👍👍👍

  10. Caroleeena says:

I gave up at 30:43. I need instruction or help with how to get a strap onto my foot in this position. I am feeling frustrated with myself right now that I couldn't figure it out. I was also having trouble watching you to follow because my back was ending up away from the monitor (when your back was toward us) and if I tried to look over my shoulder, I would completely lose the pose. Maybe when I get more flexible and knowledgeable, I will be able to do this practice.

  11. faith gchn says:

  12. I found this class challenging, particularly pigeon pose where I find my hips always struggle to stay facing forwards! I loved it, after such an intense hip opening practice I went deeper into savasana -as you said, it really was like waking up in the morning afterwards! <3

  44. Thank you! I think this was a little too hard for me as a beginner but I did my best and I feel great now. Like a whole lot of energy has been released my body is tingeling all over. Any advise for people whose knees hurt when weight is resting upon them ? I don't feel pain when I'm just steady like in tabletop possition but if my weight is shifting on them like when getting into that warrior pose somewhere, it feels really bad.. Thanks again I will definitely try this one again some time 🙂
