If you keep switching things up, you will not get bored as easily. Switch up the music or maybe even change your routine. Always keep an eye out for a new and interesting workout to add to your exercise routine.


Keep yourself motivated by rewarding yourself whenever you reach a goal. Your reward does not have to be extreme. As long as it motivates you, it is an effective incentive. Try buying yourself a movie or some cd you want Pick something that can be attained easily, but is also a bit of a splurge for you. You should chose a reward that you have really wanted in order to help yourself feel motivated.


Exercise does not have to be something you dread. You can have fun and make more progress with a few simple alterations. Use the ideas in this article to make your fitness routine more fun.

    I just want to know if the dumbbell path is straight or not in case of one arm row. please explain if possible , how much the shoulder should be extended? how to find out if shoulder is getting extended beyond the scapulae are fully retracted?

  4. Thanks for this! Im still working my way up to finally do pullups and the problem that Ive had with bent over rows was I felt more tricep activation no matter how much i was trying to squeeze and pull with my back.

  15. there is 3 diffrent grips/ways to do the DB bent over row,hammer grip, palms in, and oblique, there is no wrong grip.

  16. ive been lifting off and on for 20 years, the last 5 years I've been consistent. I have just recently added dumb bell rows and watched this video to make sure I was executing the exercise properly. Thank you, your video was the best on the form.
