A Simple But Effective Guide To Lose Weight After 30, 40, 50 and Above

There are a lot of obstacles to fitness success, from a lack of know-how to a lack of commitment. Here you will see some ideas that can help make exercise interesting and fun, which can lead to improved results.

Listening to music is a great way to get moving. Your favorite tunes can be powerful motivational assistants that help you power through your exercise. People just naturally want to get their body moving when music is playing, so it’s the perfect way to make exercise engaging and even fun! When you incorporate music into your workout routine, you will put yourself in the right frame of mind to enjoy your workout.

Working out with a friend is ideal. When you exercise, talk to your friends. This will direct your attention to the conversation, and away from the clock. Following a fitness routine with a friend will be great motivation and a lot of fun.

Buy a video game that incorporates exercise. This is one way for you to spice up what may have become quite a bland exercise routine. Playing the game will help take your mind off the workout you are getting. When you are having too much fun to get tired, your workouts become more effective and your endurance improves.

It is much more enjoyable to go to the gym if you are happy and look great when you are exercising. Get yourself some workout outfits that fit you well and are comfy. Be sure you choose items that you enjoy wearing, and ones that make you enthusiastic about working out more often.

Make an effort to change the elements of your workout frequently in order to keep your enthusiasm level high. If you get bored, you will likely quit altogether. Altering your workout routines so there is plenty of variety will assist you in staying interested and focused. If you lose interest you risk stopping altogether. Starting up again can be really tough!

Spoil yourself with a desired prize when you meet a new milestone. No matter if the milestone is a major one or a minor one, you have earned a treat. You stayed the course and met your goal! Reward yourself with something meaningful to you. An example could be a long telephone chat with an old friend or a luxurious massage at the spa. A new outfit may be just the thing to reward the loss of your final pounds. If you know there is a pot of gold at the end of the rainbow, you’ll chase that rainbow to the ends of the earth, and lose weight doing it.

While you have to do chores everyday, working out should not be one of them. There are many ways to develop exercise routines that are engaging and fun. The information you’ve read will help make exercising less tedious and more enjoyable for you.

I'm a marathon runner and all of my off days are jumping days. I'm glad you have posted your jump workouts. I put them on in the background and swap exercises as you instruct. Thanks!

  7. you have to learn how to jump the darn rope, and THEN get to the cardio training that she is showing. Rope? Nope. I would rather run. You already know how run.

  8. I just dont even know how can you do this for so long with only 10 sec break. I nearly got heart attack when i was doing jump rope. I am just 26 slightly overweight. I take 1 min break after skipping 40 times. Should I do better?

  9. Hi thanks for the inspiring workout.. Can u share the details of the rope that ur using I mean the brand and how much would it cost.. Looks pretty sturdy!!

  10. 老师好。 你很了不起。 很棒。谢谢

  14. Great cardio, small legs

  15. Jiggle jiggle jiggle

  16. Great workout! she is in good shape! and has variety!

  17. Cool but really why are you doing it on the worst surface you could jump on? Just saying in future you might want to mention so some of your less experienced jump ropers that may attempt doing this workout they'll know they should do it on any other surface other than the one that you are using. People see you and how fit you are and assume you know what you're doing and will follow… so um yeah it's a responsibility.

  18. You are body beautiful! Thanks for the video..

  19. Just started skipping 🙂 I loved this video Melissa. Thank you!

  20. Love your videos???

Melissa: Do you ever tire? You are one impressive gal. I love trying to stay with you, which seldom happens but does make me a stronger old man.

  22. Kilabot80 says:

Great video. One of my weakness, jump rope. Try to do this exercise without it. Btw. I guess your snow in your place already melted!

  23. so intense, paired with 20 min run 🙂
